Understanding is a start. Action is the point.
Hang Haven helps teens understand systems thinking. But understanding a system isn't the same as changing it. Our partners are local organizations that are great examples of what it takes to create change by supporting teens, families, and communities every day. We are so honored to spotlight them and learn from how they do it.
Food for Others provides free food and emergency support for neighbors across Northern Virginia, including local children and families facing food insecurity. Hang Haven spotlights their impactful work through our sessions on food insecurity, economic inequality, and community support.
